Benedictus
He's a joke. That's about as polite as it gets.
bardegaulois
Grandstanding. Even if Trump is elected, I'm sure he knows the courts would never allow this. The only message I can get seems to be that he's telling the angrier parts of the electorate, "I share your anger."
Ark
The Quran and hadith endorse violence as a means of spreading Islam. Something will have to be done to control this problem. Obviously not all Muslims are involved but you have a dangerous minority that has actualized it's violence, and a majority that looks on with sympathy, to other side of bell curve where you have liberal Muslims that basically don't follow the explicit tenents of their religion. Guest
I used to be anti Islam/Muslim. I used to watch Fox news. I made a thread here about Islam and got called out on it pretty bad as well as on Facebook. I've since changed my views. A really drastic change considering it's only been a year. When Islam terrorist attacks happen my first instinct is to be anti Islam/Muslim again but I think I see the error in that thinking. There's to many good Muslims out there to entertain the idea their all bad. Although here's what Saint Aquinas had to say Edited December 8, 2015 by Guest

KnightofChrist
America elected a man that defended the practice of ramming scissors in the back of a partly born child and vacuuming out the child's brain. America could just as easily elected a man who defends the practice banning the import of Muslims. Politics meh.

Building an empire is a brutal business, and the Romans were no choirboys.
foundsheep
Catechism of the Catholic Church #2106: "Nobody may be forced to act against his convictions, nor is anyone to be restrained from acting in accordance with his conscience in religious matters in private or in public, alone or in association with others, within due limits." This right is based on the very nature of the human person, whose dignity enables him freely to assent to the divine truth which transcends the temporal order. For this reason it "continues to exist even in those who do not live up to their obligation of seeking the truth and adhering to it."

But what's more absurd is that our government, aka Hussein's administration, is presently and quietly deporting Christian Syrians as we speak...they are being banned without a wimper of protests from our media... I wouldn't be shocked at all, he has the kinds of large crowds Obama had when he was running the first time, and like Obama his critics are unable to stop him. Heck I think it's likely we'll hear "President Donald J. Trump", but I don't know the future if I did I wouldn't be working where I'm at now lol.
