My 2nd Interview

Today was the last day of my internship and I had the most wonderful time at the facility over these past few months.  I, unfortunately, had to look elsewhere for a job after I graduate since there were no openings available.  I had an interview at a retirement community that is very affluent and where I received a scholarship from (it was donated to my school by the CEO who is an alumnus).  They interviewed me as a group and I received very positive feedback immediately.  The lady who will be my supervisor if I get the job wanted to talk about salary after everyone else left and also wanted to set up a meeting immediately with the HR director.  These are very good signs, especially since she wants to move quickly.  The only reason they cannot offer the job right away, I'm sure, is because a level 2 background screening must be done (or I have to provide evidence that one was completed within a few months).  Since I completed my internship, I already had this screening done prior and the hopeful supervisor was aware of this.  I will be meeting with the HR director tomorrow and then the supervisor will be calling me to make me aware of her decision the same afternoon!

Please say some prayers that everything goes as expected!  This is a TREMENDOUS opportunity for future growth and development!  The team who interviewed me asked me what my future career plans were and I let them know of my decision to pursue becoming an Executive Director.  The supervisor told me that they are always expanding (they are at the present moment, in fact) and there are opportunities for me to move up to an Assistant Director role or other supervisory positions.  This position that I applied for is BRAND NEW which is great for a new graduate!  I am very hopeful and I am praying HARD that I get the job if it's the right place for me!
