NadaTeTurbe
I'm going to post the Bach's cantata corresponding with the advent time. For the first sunday of advent, it's BWV 36 and BWV 62. BWV 36 is my favorite.
NadaTeTurbe
I forgot one for the first sunday ! It's BWV 61 For the second sunday, we have BWV 70a https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfJEOKAIB64 Wachet ! BEtet ! Betet ! Wachet means "Stay awake, pray, pray, stay awake !" It was written for a service with Rm 15, 4-13 and Luke 21, 25-36. In fact, we lost the original version of this cantata (only the music, we have the words), but Bach used the same for the 26th sunday after the trinity.
