Just watch it. ""Father Charbel told me, I prayed to God to heal you! He gave me water and it was enough "" A saint for our times. He's at work this very moment! Father Charbel pray for us. Charbel
I remember the first time I saw St. Charbel. It was a photo in my grandparents house when I was young and I was just staring at him. My grandpa asked me "Do you know who that is?" I said no, but he looked very holy. He told me how he was a very holy monk and also a hermit. After he died his body remained incorrupt and emitted this holy oil that was a cause for many miracles. He's remained with me ever since. Thanks for sharing these beautiful things guys And I agree, St. Chrysostom is amesome too, as all saints are! Deo Gratias!
Pia Jesu
How wonderful that you shared the video, Chrysostom! St. Charbel is, indeed, a saint for our times--especially in light of the horrific discord in the Middle East. Both my Christian and Muslim Lebanese friends honor the saint. During a recent visit to a cardiologist (a non-Christian from Lebanon!), he noticed the St. Charbel book I had been reading--and said, "Ah! My family has his image on the wall of our living room." Having been fortunate to receive letters--and packets of the oil that still exudes from St. Charbel's body--from Saint Maron's Monastery in Annaya, Lebanon, I encourage all to write to the monks. The conditions in Lebanon are extremely difficult...but St. Charbel's light still shines...and comforts all! http://www.saintcharbel-annaya.com
Pia Jesu
Novena Prayer to +St. Charbel Lord, infinitely glorified by your saints, you inspired Charbel, the saint and monk, to live and die in the path of Jesus Christ. You gave him the strength to detach himself from the world in order to make triumph, in his hermitage, the monastic virtues. We ask you to bestow on us the grace to love and serve you following his example. Almighty God, who has manifested the power of St. Charbel's intercession through countless miracles and favors, grant that...(name your petition).
