NovemberFourth
Thanks for posting this question. It is something I have been thinking about myself. I always held to the belief that initial attraction and a feeling of "home" when you visited were the key indicators. However, I now think that Emma8201986 may have had the right approach. Find somewhere with an apostolate that engages you, with sisters whose company you enjoy and a prayer life that fits well and take it from there. I only once experienced a feeling of epiphany - to a French congregation - but I am too old. It broke my heart at the time and I stopped discerning but that nagging feeling has returned (again). I know the Lord would not turn my heart towards religious life for no reason and I have faith that this a path of growth he has planned for me. I just have to stay on the path and trust that any necessary "turns", or changes of direction, will become apparent.
