Rebirth flame
Hey guys, this is something that i asked in the Q&A forum, and i thought maybe some of you could give me some help with... I just copied and pasted my old question over... If something in there, like wording, is confusing, lemme know and i'll explain myself alil better... ok, someone i've been talking to keeps tellin me the Catholic faith is the "whore of Babylon", and i don't know how to respond. I know the chapter in Revelations that he is reffering to, chapter 17, but i don't know what to say to him because i don't know a whole lot on the topic. This person basically says, as i'm sure you all know the claim, that the woman riding the dragon is the Church, and the seven hills refered to are Rome, and somethin about the heads of the dragon, and that the Church is satanic. I know that these are all falacy, but i don't know how to explain to him the actual interpretation, mainly because i'm alittle confused about the whole chapter as it is. Can anyone help me out? Any defense of the Church, proper explanation of the passage, or just good ol' fashioned advice would really be appreciated, and multiple accounts would be great too! i know, sometimes i must ask some strange questions, but i really do appreciate all the support i can get, so thank you all in advance! May the Blessings of the Most Holy Trinity rest inside you now and forever! ~rebirth
