Ready to cook 5 turkeys and 2 hams this morning. Gravy already made. Chicken stock on the stove to simmer over night. All dressings made and in coolers. Green beans snapped and ready to cook. Sweet potatoes par boiled and ready for the oven after a good coating of butter and brown sugar. Sweet tater and pumpkin pies made.

Don’t forget the other side veggies: cranberry sauce. There shall be two sorts of stuffing. (The kind you bake separately in a baking dish and the really good stuff you put inside the bird.) There shall be mashed potatoes, Broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, yams… it’s all-good.

How come you simmer your stock overnight?
