I also over use commas.  And ellipses.   It's a really bad habit.  If the day ever comes that I write a book for some reason, I will feel absolutely horrible for my editors.  

I mostly blame myself.  I write like I speak.  And since I have awkward, improperly timed pauses when I speak, I also use them when I write.  Haha.  It's bad. 

 

Ps.  Welcome back Cam!  I was around off and on back when you were and I am still only around off and on now.  So not much has ever really changed for me (in regard to phatmass use).  Lol
