Have you ever thought about committing murder?

I have had some rather unpleasant thoughts about the pit bull and its owner that hurt my basset hound.

Totally understandable.

Be nice to yourself, Catherine! :buddies:

Once.  I teach my students that murder is often a crime of passion; and only once have I truly experienced that passion.  My mother had just had surgery for colon cancer, my father and I had been forced to rely on one another all week, and I thought we had finally healed our shattered relationship.  I came home from work, and while I poured a glass of water in the kitchen, next to the steak knives, he said, "Son, it's about your mom, they..." and his voice cracked.  I started to cry and then he started laughing and said "Got you" and told me they'd gotten the cancer.  As he kept making fun of me for thinking my mother was dying, every single piece of verbal and emotional abuse over the years was going through my head and it took every last ounce of my willpower not to pick up a steak knife.

I've never felt that way before, or since.  And I pray that I never do again.

I can honestly answer no. I've sometimes been so angry that I fantasized telling the person off, but never so far as murder.

Recent daily reading of The Story of a Soul has led me to believe Saint Therese is my spirit animal.

I wouldn't mention to your vocation director that you think St. Theresa is your spirit animal.

After several months of working under him, Michael Voris' description of me in a private meeting was "You are a sweet, gentle guy."

I've come a long way since I was an obnoxious fetus.
