Hey Phatmass. Why You So Dead?

Two reasons:

--Phatmass is usually pretty quiet on Sundays. People spend the morning at Mass, and they spend the rest of the day catching up on chores and work before school/work on Monday morning.

--It's a holiday week. Most people have a short week at work or school and have Thanksgiving plans. They may have to do extra shopping, or travel somewhere, etc. etc.

I expect Phatmass to be quiet all week.

For me, I'm trying very hard to divert my attention to things that are light, and silly, and fun, or otherwise I will lose hope that life is good. If you need something to do, pray for me. Hard.

Thanksgiving was last month and I wish this week would be a short easy one but no work will be horribly busy

No, I don't think it's work or Thanksgiving or the weekend. It's been this way for a few weeks. I dunno what's up.

But I second Nada's comment, ladies.

Ash Wednesday

I'm going through a rough time with some health related issues and battling depression off and on because of it, so I haven't had a lot to say or been able to come on as much, though I suppose hardships are perhaps an ideal time to draw closer to God and to focus on spiritual things, so perhaps I should be on again. Just been hard.

Few threads have caught my interest. Plus I just don't have the time anymore to  really involve myself in a topic I do find interesting.

What Iggy said is true for me. And I'm kind of done with Phatmass. Ironically enough, the last bout of drama kind of turned me off the place.

Which bout was that? I can't even remember.

i remember several years ago it used to be very lively.  There were often people in chat every night and threads were more active as well.  Things change though people move on, get married, have kids or they are busy with university  or just work in general.  Also, as vocation station is one of the busier places on here the nature of it means that some members eventually leave to go to religious life.
