NadaTeTurbe
Gabriela, thank you for posting all these pictures. It warms our heart. Le monde have a facebook page for drawings : https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153822590057590.1073741837.14892757589&type=3 The hommage from Montréal : http://video.canadiens.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=66&id=874165&lang=en The number of death is still temporary because of the wounded. The future of some of them is still unsure. I don't like him, but François Holland, our socialist president, reacted well. The motto of Paris is "Fluctuat nec mergitur" : Tossed but not sunk, wich we translate by : "She is tossed by the waves but does not sink". People are painting it everywhere. How appropriate. et let's be honest, for a catholic, it's super cool to see latin everywhere. I tried to pray for the terrorist souls, at this morning mass. May God have mercy. Ash Wednesday
When I saw the mass at Notre Dame and message from Pope Francis headlining on CNN, I just lost it. I was just so moved to see the Lord and his Blessed Mother, often scorned and forgotten, still there with open arms for so many scared and hurting... NadaTeTurbe
Three people more died because of their wounds. It's 132 death. French, british, american, moroccan, spanish. Young, a couple, a mother and her daughter... Found this prayer onf Aleteia : Lord, the ones you love are under siege and in danger at the hands of those who do not know you, and who do not love life. Already many are dead, and the grief will be terrible. We beg your mercy on the souls of the dead, and your healing upon those injured; but we beg your mercy upon the city of Paris and the people therein, as they are targeted by a dark madness that travels among us. We understand nothing, Lord, but we know that a light shines in the darkness, and the darkness does not overcome it. Christ Jesus, light of the world, come into this darkness. In your light we see light. Notre Dame de Paris, pray for the people of your city! Our Lady of Grace, you who showed yourself to Saint Catherine Laboure and brought miracles, who smiled upon Saint Therese of Lisieux and created a missionary, in your holy Motherhood, please intercede for your fearful and endangered people; bring your consolations to the people of Paris and all of France. NadaTeTurbe
There was a mass in Notre Dame de Paris with many people, uncluding many non-believers. And... "Hassan, Nasrium, Homuyra, iranian political opponent living in Paris in exile, are muslims. They came to put a rose at the feet of the Virgin Mary."Congrat, Daesh. Thanks to you, muslims are giving rose to Mary. You really bring people closer to islam.

Kia ora
Let us all pray together. God hears us. And if you can, pray for the attackers, because they have put their immortal souls in grave peril of damnation and need all the help they can get before the merciful one. Socrates
I don't understand why they hate France so much. What do they have against them? There's been massive immigration of followers of the "Religion of Peace" into France. This is what you get from its more fanatical adherents, who don't like its secular liberal society. Prayers for France.
Spem in alium
An associate of my congregation died in the attacks in Paris. He was 19. NadaTeTurbe
Didadicus : I'm sorry if it hurted you. I'm happy that they did that, and I hope that this attacks will encourage french people to ask themself : "Is there a God ?" and bring them closer to the Church (and I hope that the Church is ready to answer their questions) But I was in a part serious. I know a lot of muslims from seculars background who, when they see what Daesh is doing, are thinking about leaving their religion. So, there's a irony in that. They want to bring muslims closer to Islam, but it's quite the contrary. Gabriela, they don't only hate France, they hate muslims of France. Because most of them are secularized, because our system, who have problems, I don't deny it, works. I know imam who drink wine, etc... A majority of muslims does not practise. French people who are going in Syria fighting for ISIS come from atheist family (they are convert), or very secular family. Also, there's a majority of muslims/arab in the army and in the police. I think that's why they hate us so much. Because a majority of muslims people are integrated in the french society and don't hate it like ISIS do. The french Air Army bombed ISIS training camp. Political man are acting like vulture. I'm digusted. Spem in Alium, it's horrible. Please let us know if your community have any specific prayers that we can say, and when there will be the mass. Vee, you can add them if you want. I think we can add also the patron of the foreigners who died in the attacks (Algeria, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Roumania, British, tunisian, Morrocan, Swedish, american, Senegalese) : Our lady of Africa, pray for them Martyrs of Thibbirine, pray for them Our lady of Guadalupe, pray for themSte Teresa of Avila, pray for them St Anthony of Padua, pray for them, St Nicétas de Rémésiana, pray for them St George, pray for them St Brigit of Sweden, pray for them Mother Mary of Jesus the Good Shepherd, foundress of the sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, pray for them St Faustina, apostle of Divine Mercy, pray for the souls of the attackers.
