CatherineM
All Soul's is very special to me. 11 years ago today, after spending 8 years in a wheelchair, I woke up with the clear knowledge that I would walk again. When you're disabled, it can be hard to know when you've accepted your situation or when you've just given up hope. I had lost hope, but somehow it was miraculously restored. I didn't just think I could get better, I knew it to the center of my being. At first I only took a few steps, walking like a toddler or Frankenstein's monster. Eventually I could go longer and longer. I still walk with a walker or crutches most of the time because of my damaged knee, and there are still parts of my legs that are partially paralyzed, but I'm so grateful. CatherineM
Don't feel very amesome right now. Did an hour of water aerobics, then walked a kilometre in the deep end, then went grocery shopping for the hoard I feed. My Mom would have said done been rode hard and put away wet. CatherineM
Grocery shopping for your hoard would make anyone feel tired! We shop at the warehouse where restaurants buy their stuff. Although I can't use a 100 pound sack of carrots, it does make our food budget go farther.
