Egeria
When I saw this article, I thought that some people here might be interested in it. Bose is an ecumenical monastic community in North Italy that is less well-known in the English speaking world than it is in Europe. It's of the more successful examples of post-Vatican II monastic renewal. http://parabola.org/2015/10/28/signore-parabola-visits-the-monastero-di-bose-in-the-foothills-of-the-italian-alps-by-roger-lipsey/

beatitude
How do they deal with Communion if there are Protestants in the community? I can't speak for Bose community, but whenever I've been at Taize, a Catholic priest celebrates and the Holy Eucharist is given only to Catholics. A Protestant brother stands in a designated spot with bread that was blessed outside Mass, and Protestant worshippers go to receive this. I'd imagine that something similar is done in other ecumenical communities.
