I have seen this museum many times.  It's really is quite remarkable.  Some of the mannequins are life size and the habits are really very true-to-form.  They obviously had some input and help from the sisters that used to make and wear those habits.

We always vacationed in the area ("up north" as we Michiganders refer to it) every summer when I was a kid and I served Mass at the base of that crucifix when it was just in the middle of the wooded area behind the little church.  Now there are seats and kneelers and other altars and grottos surrounding the crucifix.  It's very joyful and prayerful!!  I was just up there 2 summers ago and spent some time there.  The new church that was built a few years back is beautiful.  Behind the altar are floor to ceiling windows and the outdoor large Crucifix is positioned right in the middle of the windows so as to serve as the Crucifix required for Mass. They have a website and you can sign up to get their newsletters.

I would try and make a trip there but won't be able to with the care of my Mom and all.
