Um...its like a country-swing type of music. Its fast and fun. There aren't many real rockabilly bands now though. Some elvis and cash songs are rockabilly. Its hard to explain. It's twangy and lots of reverb. Popular during the fifties. Psychobilly is just a sped up form of rockabilly (psycho, as in fast). There are some different classifications for Punk, but mainly music tends to be about how you view life. A lot of punks listened to johnny cash because of what he spoke about. So is Cash Punk? It really depends. Is was, however a practicing Christian, who almost gave up singing. His good friend who is a Pastor (not priest), encouraged him to use his music to speack about Jesus. So, if you look at Cash's material from the last twenty years, you'll notice a heavy spiritual/religious tone. Oh yeah, btw, his pastor friend was Billy Graham.
