Not A Mallard
More importantly, you will no longer hear this fanfare, and its absence will drive you crazy: Especially since this is from the rare theatrical version (which I have). Not A Mallard
Seriously though. That would be downright evil - even more disrespectful to its franchise than the first Mission: Impossible and Terminator Genisys are to their franchises. Seriously though. Not The Philosopher
It wouldn't dramatically make sense for Luke to become evil - the climax of Return of the Jedi represents Luke's ultimate temptation, and so his rejection of it brings that aspect of his character arc to a deliberate close. To have him go evil, or even present it as a real possibility, would be possible in a realistic sense, but dramatically it would be backpedaling his character to The Empire Strikes Back. It would, however, make perfect sense for him to die, seeing how he is now the Obi Wan character, and it would establish that this is a threat only the new characters could handle. And, I mean, someone needs to fill the role of being a green screen effect that provides plot exposition.

superblue
I really don't want to see Han Solo, or Luke, or any of the good guys we know of die, or turn to the dark side . I did love though the complete speaking with an unpleasant disposition about the actor ( black ) playing a storm trooper, and there was this brief outcry of racism . An now they have nothing to say finding out he is escaping the Empire and probably is going to become a Jedi. Not sure who the young female character is weilding a light saber, but it made me wonder if they were going to do like the last night mare of Indiana Jones an the crystal skull and have the child be the offspring of Liea and Han, and perhaps Liea doesn't reveal it to Han to later, or who knows. I do wish Jar Jar binks was in the opening scene though, and he would say hi im Jar Jar Binks, and then something crashes into him killing him instantly. I am trying to stay far away from internet speculation but i cant help it sometimes. Though after opening day, social media will be blasting to no end who the bad guy is, so ima have to steer clear from those traps till i can see it. I was going to say i hope JJ doesn't mess up with this, but then i remembered how George Lucas opened the doors by introducing us with jar jar bloody binks, and having yodas' fight scene looking like a frog bouncing all over the place with a light saber. elizabeth09
I hope that Darth Vader's Ghost makes an appearance. Me to. I hope that if they do, they do a good job with him. I wonder if yoda's ghost will appear as well.

elizabeth09
Does this look like Luke? Not the one that I remember. Did they get a new person to play Luke at the last second?
