Because it's been a long time and we have some new people. We need our mandatory one thread minimum of these per year, so I'm getting it out now.

That test is by far the most accurate Myers Briggs-inspired test I've ever taken. I've gotten many different results in the past, ranging from ESFP, ESTP, ENTP, etc., but none ever fit me.

However, I took this test and got ENFJ, and when I read the description, I had finally found a type that described me incredibly accurately.

What was your result? Did you agree with it?

I'm a NFJ with equal I and E. The I is the natural writer, the E is the natural teacher, so I certainly agree with it. The psychiatrist told me that being equal isn't a good thing. It can cause chaos. I'm extremely shy yet gregarious. Very chaotic at times.

I think it's to vague.

"being adaptable is more important than being organized"

Ummmm what does that mean? You can't be both? Or do they just mean more important than an organized schedule?

"a book or interesting video game is often better than a social event"

Depends on the event and people, doesn't it?

The middle-ground is what those types of questions are for.

It says "often better" rather than just "better", so I disagree that it's vague.

Can a mediator of meh make this an open poll? I meant to, but I forgot.

i've taken this particular test several times in the past; I get a new result every time.

It's the same with "in wich Hogwart house are you ?"

I'm going to try this on the evening. I wanted to do it now but my teacher spend his time sitting behind my back and looking what I'm doing on the computer

That's the sign of a good teacher. Why are you surfing the internet in class? Shame on you.

Because this teacher give us one or two page document to read, and then leave/come back to the class (or sits where he wants and speak with the next students) during 30 minutes. Everybody (including the teacher) is bored by this option (something that the administration command us to do, without asking the teachers or the students), so... We pass time ;)

I usually get INTJ, but today I got ISTJ.

Edit: In doing a bit of research, I think this split is reasonable. I would tend towards intuition or sensing depending on the context.

Currently INFP. When I was working I was about 50/50 between Introverted and Extraverted. As CatherineM said, this can be a chaotic mixture, because it was various parts of my personality clashing. I'm a born "teacher" and I'm happier speaking than writing. However, there is a side to me that is VERY private and shy, and I don't do well in big crowds, parties, etc.

In other personality tests I've also had clashes in my personality because I have a very rational side but also a very creative side and they don't always "get along."

In the tests of "right brain" versus "left brain" I am exactly equal between the two. That might sound like a good thing, but sometimes I don't know what side to listen to. I've made the best decisions of my life when I've done LOTS of research (my rational side) and then made the final decision based on my "gut" (my intuitive side). I've also learned that my worst decisions were when I ignored my intuition. Unfortunately, unlike when I was in my 20's, I'm not sure I will have the time or opportunities to "fix" my mistakes made from past wrong decisions.

I never get the same result twice in these tests, but the first time I read the description for INFP a ways back I knew that was me through and through.
