now, you're not the only one. my facebook newsfeed flabbergasts me sometimes with what people report is said and done to them.

but where do you all dig these people up?

most humans in my life act like I don't exist -- which is how I like it.

I'm hard to ignore, but I'd love it if people treated me like I don't exist.  I have always had the ability to rub people the wrong way.  All my life, I've had people take an immediate dislike to me almost chemically.  No one seems to be lukewarm, they either love me, or can't stand the sight of me. My Mom used to think it was because I've always been tall and had a booming voice.  She thought I might intimidate people with my intelligence and should act dumb.  My Dad said that I put off a vibe that I don't mess with idiots or phony's.  I don't have a clue.  It's always someone that everyone likes and they only act like that to me.  It really seems to happen with people I've helped who later turn on me.  I may just be one of those who is easy to pick on because it takes a lot to make me really angry.  When I dropped out for 18 months or so, lots of people thought it was the male establishment at the seminary pushing me out because I'm a woman.  Actually the guys begged me to come back.  I've always thought my best revenge was to have a good life.  That seems to drive them nuts.
