Colleen
That's so cool. I'm hoping to write something this summer. Just have to figure out what. What's the story about?
Thy Geekdom Come
Hmmm...sort of a Lord of the Rings meets Narnia, Harry Potter, and Camelot genre...

I kind of have something in mind, but I always get discouraged, because I'm afraid it's not very interesting. But I guess I really shouldn't care about that, and just go ahead and write. Thy Geekdom Come
What I'm trying to do is make it as plot-heavy as Harry Potter, as well as with many, many allusions to other stories, etc., and I'm trying to bring in Tolkien's morality and Catholic symbolism, along with C.S. Lewis' humor and childish whimsy, and there is a bit of Lewis Carroll as well...all while the plot, character names, etc. are truly a mix of Camelot's medieval charm and just a touch of Shakespeare's analogies, vocabulary, and ambiguous euphamisms.
