Seven77
My uneducated thought is that Cardinal Burke in Rome means that he is not "in exile." The Pope isn't trying to keep the Cardinal at a distance so as to prevent him from "meddling" in his supposedly heterodox "agenda." Also don't Cardinals ofter get moved around from different congregations? What do i know what the Holy Spirit is doing? People like controversy---come off that ish. Benedictus
Could be a case of the devil makes work for idle hands, so best to give Burke something productive to do even if it's not really desired It could also be that he is slowly being brought back into the curia after a time in the cold because of his natural gifts and talent
Winchester
It has been speculated that Burke's enemies wanted to put him in a nothing yet time-consuming position because they realized the error of giving him free reign to go all over the world giving talks and spewing his bigoted orthodox beliefs to the people. rein Free rein. I hold out that Papa is going to shock everyone with an orthodox papal smack down. I think Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI knew the damage in the Church and I think our Pope chose St. Francis because he too understood he was given the task in his day to rebuild the Church. https://brotherjuniper.wordpress.com/2008/06/26/rebuild-my-church-the-dream-of-pope-innocent/ Saint Francis of Assisi, pray for us. Saint Clare, pray for us. Saint Anthony of Padua, Hammer of Heretics, pray for us. Saint Padre Pio, pray for us.
