I miss Canada [poutine appreciation tread]

Last year there was an excellent poutinerie on campus, but over the summer it was closed and replaced by a Mexican place. :(

Nothing against tacos, but that poutine was incredible.

Canadians probably say the same about you. :|

Yeah but then I remind them they're Canadian and they slink away like school children who just read their essay in front of the class and the only person who clapped was the teacher (in this parable the teacher is a symbolic representation of the queen, and the Canadian schoolboys are just Canadians period).

A Tolstoy for our time.

I had some delicious vegetarian poutine at a restaurant a few months ago. So savory and flavorful, though some might find the meatlessness sacrilegious to the dish. ;) There's also a poutine food truck in my area that I want to check out.

Well, I mean there is nothing that says it has to have meat in it. Gravy is best when it is non-vegetarian though.
That said, IMO pulled pork poutine is one of the best varieties.

The place on campus did a really good double and triple pork poutine. Pulled pork and bacon (double pork) and sausage (triple).

You guys smell of elderberries. Now I am hungry.

Santa is Greek. I bet he loves Windex too.

Okay, I'll bite (although I may regret it). What does Windex have to do with Santa? :think2:

What? See what happens when I leave! (Actually I never went to the place, just smelled the noxious fumes).
