She is one of my mother's good friends. A couple of years ago she had a significant breakdown after her husband had an affair. She was a very "together" person, very stylish, etc, and now she has completely changed (very vacant, wanders, volatile mood swings, and so on).

Three months ago her husband left her and moved in with a woman he'd met on an online dating site, taking their seventeen-year-old son with him. They have now separated and their other two boys live away from home. C told my mother she has spent the last three months crying. She is moving back in with her parents, but from what I know her mother treats her terribly.

My mother is her closest friend; many of her friends distanced themselves after her breakdown. 

Prayers for them all (for C and her family, but also for my mother too) would be appreciated.
