Pregnant Coworker Sick

My coworker is 16 weeks pregnant dating the father of her baby and has been feeling ill. She gets hot flashes and says that her work schedule is tough for her. We work in a grocery store. She's a cashier and I'm a courtesy clerk (grocery sacker and any other tasks assigned to me, but I'm not cashier trained.) 

On top of feeling sick, managers haven't been very understanding of her needs, such as when she requests restroom breaks and is told that she has to wait because they really need her, especially when it's busy.
