Interview and ongoing recovery

The day after I posted my last prayer request I received a job interview invitation. It's not the one I want the most, but it looks interesting and challenging and it pays well. It's quite different from anything I've done before, but perhaps that's a good thing. I'm encouraged to be offered an interview, as I doubted I'd meet their minimum criteria. Thank you God for this confidence boost. Please pray that I make the most of the interview opportunity, even if I don't get the position.

I am recovering, slowly but surely, from the abusive friendship that I've requested prayers for in the past. This week set me back a little as the Jewish New Year carries difficult memories associated with that friend. A few scars and scabs broke open. Please pray that I continue to heal and also pray for my former friend.
