Look for the Tardis...

Found it!   Outside Earls Court Station.   Then I read that a Dalek was at the Westminster Tube Station Frday.    Yikes.

Don't forget a visit to King's Cross Station to visit Platform 9 3/4. (Note: For non-Harry Potter fans that is where you catch the train to Hogwarts.) Of course that platform doesn't exist, but, at least in the past, station officials made a "Platform 9 3/4" sign so tourists could take pictures. Other than that, King's Cross is an unexciting, kinda dirty train station. If you want to see a more "classic" English train station, try Victoria Station, although that is kinda dirty, too.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that there is at least one guidebook to all the places in London where Harry Potter filmed.

London is amesome. You don't need to have any destination--just walking around is wonderful. (Although your kids might feel differently.)

Have a great trip! It's been years since I've been to London--I miss it!

It is now my life duty to do this.

That's at Making Harry Potter in the UK, right next to the actual Hogwarts Express used in the movies.   Yes, amesome.

I think Universal Studios in Orlando has something similar.  We never made it to Kings Cross Station this time.

Agree. In a Ravenclaw uniform, it would be perfect.

Is Making Harry Potter good ? Would love to go here.

I like Ravenclaw's ideals the most, but somehow I get thrown into Gryffindor more often than I do Ravenclaw on quizzes.

I visited a religious community once, who presented themself like this : "we have a Gryffindor state of mind". maybe you can start the male branch of the order...
