Charbel
J.M.+J.T. I don't know who else knows about this, so I thought I would share EWTN is coming out with a movie about Saint Kateri Tekakwitha! I was watching a program on the channel, and a little "Behind the Scenes" snippet came on afterwards talking about this movie. Lo and behold, I found this on their Facebook page after a quick Google search: Now filming; prayers needed! Kateri Tekakwitha was a young Mohawk woman who lived in the late 17th Century who became the first Native American Saint. EWTN is now filming an original movie, set to premiere in late fall 2015, that presents the story of Kateri’s conversion to the Catholic faith through the heroic efforts of Jesuit missionaries. Kateri survived smallpox, endured the ridicule of villagers, & overcame the strong opposition of her uncle to become a follower of Jesus and model of sanctity for us. Filming is taking place in Cambria, California from March 21-31 – now! Please pray that this new movie will allow Saint Kateri to lead many hearts and souls to Christ. Also a little article about the filmmaker: http://www.sanluisobispo.com/2015/04/02/3568401/cambria-filmmaker-kateri-covell.html Fun Fact - My grandparents live in Cambria, CA. This was quite a treat to find out!

truthfinder
Hmm...each section is supposed to have an historical analysis. I'd like to know who they had advising them. Kateri's a bit later than what I study, but I really hope they've done their work. Both on the religious accuracy as well as the Native side. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.
