olivialorraine
Hi, I’m presenting to the Junior Legion of Mary in my diocese on the religious life and I could really use your help! If you were giving the talk, what things would you say? I don’t want to overlook anything! At the same time, I don’t want to overload their young brains with TOO much information! I’ve been given a pretty long leash on what I can talk about. Advice?!
DominicanHeart
I have been concerned for the same thing. I'm teaching fifth grade CCD and I want to teach them a little about vocations. Someone on here told me about a website called Religious Life Today I believe? It has some very basic information. I'd like to at least have them understand what the various roles on in the Church, such as Priests, Deacons, Brothers and Sisters. Forgive me, the website is called Called Today. puellapaschalis
Fr Prior at Silverstream spoke to a Junior Legion of Mary in Dublin, and chose as his topic 'The Salvation of Souls.' I know it's not directly related to your topic, but perhaps you'll find it useful nevertheless: http://vultuschristi.org/index.php/2015/08/the-real-challenge-saving-souls/
Sponsa-Christi
For kids and teens, I think the "Vocation Tree" materials might be helpful: http://www.vocationtree.org/
