Internship: Happy News!

I'm sorry to be inundating the prayer room with requests, but your prayers have certainly helped move things along!  I just received a phone call from my program director who told me that the administrator at the assisted living facility is VERY interested in having another intern from my university.  He will be training an internal intern from another facility, as well, but he has been there for a while and thinks he can convince his supervisors to allow a student intern, too.  This facility gets excellent ratings and I've heard nothing but good things about the company.  I called the facility and left a voicemail.  I'm hoping to have an interview scheduled for Friday since he will be talking to his supervisors on Monday.  I am very hopeful that this will work out!

BTW, my program director heard back from the other facility administrator that she met with last week and said exactly what I thought - the supervisors want her to raise the quality ratings before taking on an intern.  I'm rather relieved that it didn't work out.  My interest has always been with assisted living facilities since I started the program at my university.  It's what I've wanted to do from the beginning.

Please pray that this facility works out!  I'm ready to start my internship ASAP as I will already be a week behind everyone in my graduating class.
