One thing I like about Canada is the CBC, its publicly funded and doesn't show bias in any direction. It does well balanced, truthful, in depth reports.
I love the N!!! I dont watch that much TV anymore (after I started High school i had absolutely no time) but i still watched it once in a while...Degrassi n Radio Free Roscoe!!!!!! :D
I have a confession to make. I stole my sisters tapes of shows off the N like Degrassi and RFR and got hooked. Our current TV with the digital cable is older and we can't get the channels high enough for the N but when we can...

:rolling:
I sometimes feel FoxNews has too conservative a slant. But, I guess it's going to go one way or another no matter what. I guess I would rather have it be too conservative than too liberal.
Do what I do. View some TV news, ie Fox, read the local conservitie ("Mainstream") news paper, than read the local liberal-er news paper, than balnce it with NPR. Hehe.

Do you guys get There's Something About Miriam over there? That show is just...*shudder*. Just don't watch it. I never have.

Anyway.
Cooking shows. Go Jamie Oliver!!!
Frasier rocks too.
and Aussie kids afternoon shows Ocean Girl, Fergus McPhail and that.
What I wouldn't give to have the Brady Bunch, M*A*S*H and Happy Days back, though.
There's nothing wrong with old timer shows on TV Land!!
Hehe...

Come and knock on our door
We've been waiting for... you
And then the thing and the thing and the 'nother thing...

THREE'S COMPANY, TOO!

That's probably the oldest tv show I watch, lol. My sister and I watched the episode of Full House where they song the theme song like the above, and we got hooked to Three's Company. And Cheers. Nick@Nite is my friend. Hehe.

When they try to put the donkey to sleep? I grew up with the Full House family.

Anyways, I'm glad to see Tony watches the CBC. Would you say its politically neutral and totally honest? I would.

No thanks.....While the more conservative news outlets make me a little uncomfortable sometimes, the liberal ones usually just piss me off.

If you're gonna boycott, you should just turn off your t.v. completely. no point in half-heartedly doing it by just watching what you're addicted to. then write to t.v. stations explaining what you're doing and why. it would only work if lots of people did it, too.
