Deacon's wife

Today our Parish had to bury the wife of our dear Deacon. They both faithfully served the Church together, he as a Deacon and she as a lector. A beautiful witness to a true Catholic marriage. She was very sick. We all fear the Deacon is not far behind. He is suffering from skin cancer and now a broken heart. Whenever he read the Prayer of the Faithful he would always add "Let us pray for all those people who have loved us, whose lives touched ours. And we have the privilege of loving them." He is a true inspiration. Please pray for him and his family.
