For my siblings after a bereavement

Yesterday we heard that my half-brother and half-sister's mother has died. They were estranged from her and hadn't had any contact for years. She was abusive to them when they were small children. I only met her once, when she turned up at the house in the middle of the night and assaulted my own mother - I was only five and I just remember blood on the floor, my mum crying, and the police turning up. My sister hid me in the cupboard so that I wouldn't get hurt too. They don't like talking about their early childhood, but that incident shows me what it must have been like. Now they're grieving, but also struggling with difficult feelings about what their mum did to them. They have some emotional problems because of the early abuse, especially my sister. Please pray for them all and for the repose of the soul of their mother.
