Guest
"Relatively recently, whilst exploring the mathematics of string theory, Theoretical Physicist James Gates and his researcher discovered something rather interesting buried deep within the mathematical equations of super symmetry. They found computer code. And it isn’t just random 1’s and 0’s either. Bizarrely, the code they found is code which is used in computer browser operating system software..." BarbTherese
.....went over my head in most places.....but I presume that the differences or opposing arguments by the two main speakers (not the anchor man) in the video continues and will continue. At best it is a challenged theory it seems and in the video below, Dr Gates himself calls his theoretical proposition technical gobbledygook if presented formally..........or technical stuff no one would be able to understand. And if no one can understand it, his theory cannot be tested..............I presume. If in the future, Dr Gates should be found to be correct, it wont upset my apple cart on any level. Guest
If in the future, Dr Gates should be found to be correct, it wont upset my apple cart on any level. Nor should it. This stuff points directly to an Intelligent Creator. If everything is just naturalistic there would be no reason for this kind of thing. It seems the more Science learns and uncovers the farther away they are pushed from a purely naturalistic universe happening and being caused by random occurrence and no intelligence. Even atheist like Sam Harris admit consciousness can't be explained by naturalistic means. "Consciousness—the sheer fact that this universe is illuminated by sentience—is precisely what unconsciousness is not. And I believe that no description of unconscious complexity will fully account for it. It seems to me that just as “something” and “nothing,” however juxtaposed, can do no explanatory work, an analysis of purely physical processes will never yield a picture of consciousness." - Sam Harris

Luigi
I'm no mathematician - the best I can do is proportions and percentages.(Although I used to be able to graph some algebraic formulae.) But even with my limited knowledge of math, I think any fool should be able to look at the natural world around them and see the mathematical complexity of it. I mean even just PI - an infinite number in every circle!
