Credo in Deum
"Without Latin, we do not know who we are, or where we come from."--Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI I hope you will take time to watch the video. With that said, does anyone know of any good Latin resources for learning Ecclesiastical Latin? I'm talking really basic stuff for green horns like myself. Catlick
Ancient Hebrew was and is crucial to transmitting Jewish religion down the centuries. The same with Latin in the Roman Catholic Church. As soon as you reject the Latin, you sever the ties that bind you to your ancestors and thus to God.
Not The Philosopher
John F. Collin's A Primer of Ecclesiastical Latin is a good textbook, although you have to buy the answer key separately.
