A few things struck me as interesting watching this. I was surprised to see how involved their parents were in the actual preparation. Also, that they received black/dark veils in the novitiate. This must have been one of the few communities to have such as practice. I wonder how they would have differentiated between the novices and the professed - or if they did at all. (Oh!
