This movie looks very fun and is getting great reviews! I'm hoping to see it soon. Is anyone else planning to watch it? :)

I'm not sure if I'll be able to see it tonight, but I'll try to see it as soon as I can.

Cool, I'm even more excited to see it! Sometime next week I'll round up a friend and head to the theater.

I plan to see it. I always trust Pixar.

I've had so little confidence in Pixar since Cars 2 that I still haven't seen Monsters University. Inside Out is the Pixar we deserve, and the one we need right now.

I didn't see Cars 2, but Monsters University is very good !

One great thing among many in that movie is that it is very clear that they did their homework. I looked into it afterwards and they consulted very thoroughly with at least two doctors of psychology, and that influence really shows. Islands of personality, abstract thinking, the ability to process more complex emotions as one matures, etc. I think this is an important movie for young people because it will help them to understand some of the more difficult parts of growing up. It will help them contextualize their experiences and understand that what they are going through is normal.

It's amazing how Pixar can make us care for inanimate objects. When the opening short started I was thinking, "Really? A singing volcano?" but my heart was melted by the end.

And Bing Bong has the saddest character arc out of any Pixar movie that I can remember.

Is it worth seeing in 3D?

For an extra couple bucks, sure. If you were taking a family and it would mean an extra thirty or something, 2d is just fine.

I do not mind 3D, but it is never crucial in my opinion.

Saw it again. Enjoyed it just as much the second time. Now that I know that the dad is played by Kyle MacLachlan, I feel even worse for Cal from Agents of SHIELD picturing him with the family he always wanted.
