@dUSt himself demoted PhuturePriest from Church Militant to Chummy Commoner awhile back based on comments FP had made on Phatmass and on FP's Facebook. @dUSt addressed this matter in public threads. I don't remember exactly when this happened, but I assume that this can be searched (and I'm virtually sure that FP knew about it and the reason for @dUSt's actions). So, rather than making this a public discussion, since this was @dUSt's direct decision, I suggest that FP discuss this matter privately with @dUSt. Obviously, I personally am not competent to have an opinion on @dUSt's earlier decision.

While this may not be your intent, there are times when I feel you post things for the sole purpose of getting FP riled up.  

Anyway in order to squash any FP vs Ignatius arguments which have been so common when you two address each other, I'm going to ask @PhuturePriest to please not respond to your post.  Let it go Miles.

​You may not believe me, but I didn't post this to get FP riled up. I did it to stop public discussion of FP's status, and to suggest that FP and dUSt talk privately to work this out, since the decision ultimately lies with dUSt.

I am fine with whatever decision dUSt makes about FP's status. I am not competent to make that decision about ANYONE.

That said, I will not post anything more in this thread. Reminder: I have said several times recently that I sincerely want only the best for FP, especially as he embarks on the next stage of this life, and I mean that. I have also said several times that I pray for happiness and success for FP every time I think of him. These prayers are not only for FP's sake, but also to help my own attitude. I am far from perfect.

Rest assured that Dust and I have been in contact with each other and know where the other stands. If he wants to question me about anything that concerns him, he need only ask. As he hasn't, I assume he knows well where I stand, or is not bothered enough to pursue the matter further. As he is an adult with a wife and children, I am sure it is the latter.

I'm honestly not very worried about it. Having the Church Militant tag would be nice only because then I would be able to answer questions I know the answers to in the Q&A forum, but I'm not bothered by it in general. People who know me well know that I am in good-standing with the faith (including Dust, for that matter), and that is enough for me.

If I were to one day get my Church Militant tag back, I would, of course, receive it with grace and benevolence due my reputation. But there are more important things, and I do not wish for it to be a point of contention on the forum.
