Extensive Dental Work

I am having extensive dental work done this afternoon (Friday), followed by an appointment with the dental surgeon on Monday morning.

I badly need prayers.

When I was healthier, I was able to recover easily from dental work and take it "in stride." Now that my health isn't good, I have problems, not only with pain, but with the fact that my body doesn't recover well afterwards. For several days after major dental work such as I am having done today, and especially Monday, every bone in my body aches, especially at night, and I feel as if I have been in a bad car accident or experienced some other kind of serious body trauma. Also, due to diabetes and other health issues, my body does not heal as quickly as it would normally heal for someone my age.

These two appointments are only the first of many. I'll be spending hours in the dental chair this summer. I feel ashamed asking for prayers for this because I used to be so stoic and a "model" dental patient. But, for me, because of my health, dental work causes serious trauma to my body, and this summer is going to be very difficult because of it.

Thank-you!

(Now you know why I was in such a difficult mood today. I apologize.)
