NadaTeTurbe
I asked you to pray Ste Germaine for me, but I thought I should give a testimony on who was Ste Germaine and why she is amazing.Ste Germaine of Pibrac was, in the middle age, the daughter of some poor ploughman. Her mother died while Germaine was young. She was sick, and she could not use one of her hands. Her stepmother beat her.She convinced her father to send her watching her flocks far away, in the nature, where she can said her rosary, prayed, went to mass, and gave her bread to the poors. When she put her distaff in earth, the distaff would watch her flocks. One day, a river opened for her (like the red sea !). Another day, her stepmother thought she had bread in her apron, she wanted to hit her, but she had roses !She died at 22 years old, in 1601.In 1644, by chance, a man who was digging a grave, found a perfect body, fresh, with fresh flowers ! In 1661, her body was still perfect ! She did many miracles. She was canonized in 1700.After her death, she did more than 400 miracles. She is the patron saint of abandoned people, disabled people, abuse victims, girl from rural areas, and shepherdesses. I often call Germaine my secret friend. She is not a well known saint, she had a simple life, but she have answered all my prayer. I asked her to cure my sciatica, and she did. I volunteer with abuse victims, and she gave me the strenght to do it. I have heard great story about Ste Germaine helping parents to adopt a little girl from India, helping an old man to support chemo, and many other story. She moves many people, because they can identify their struggle with the suffering of Ste Germaine. And they learned from her that even when you are in a dark situation, you have to pray and help the poor.I often say this prayer :« Remember, very kind Germaine, your brothers and sisters who moan and cry in this valle of tears.Remember that they hope in you, and that they are waiting your help in their trials, consolation in their pain.Remember that you too, you moaned, you cried, you knew poverty, isolation, humiliation, and pain. And now in your glory, remember of our misery, in your power, remember of our weakness, in your hapiness, remember of our tears.Teach us at the school of your kindness, your patience, your faith, your charity. And at the end of this world, receive us in the eternal land. »Ste Germaine is a friend of the sisters of the good news : http://www.bonnenouvellequartmonde.org/en/47-articles-in-english Like the little sisters of Jesus, they are sisters who have a contemplative life among the poorest, bringing Christ to them, giving them dignity. « Our religious obedience, grated on that of Jesus, is adoration of the Father and collaboration with his Project. » They live in small community, in the midst of the poorest people, in silence, prayer, and peace. Their foundress prayed a lot ste Germaine. She died in januar, and said that after her death, the community will have many vocations.Ste Germaine :http://www.google.fr/url?source=imglanding&ct=img&q=http://img.over-blog.com/187x300/3/34/89/09/sg-annefioc.jpg&sa=X&ved=0CAkQ8wdqFQoTCPTNrfTHgsYCFcFAFAodd3wAKQ&usg=AFQjCNHY4SU5pEqzbuSfpo5amZ1V26pJMw http://www.google.fr/url?source=imglanding&ct=img&q=http://www.eglises-landes.cef.fr/eglises/monographies/pontonx/pontonx_pibrac.jpg&sa=X&ved=0CAkQ8wc4VmoVChMI2NWyg8iCxgIVQtcUCh2nKQAz&usg=AFQjCNHZ5E7nbdH_ikwHx7oxygyPog9pWw
