Internship Preparation

Today was the first meeting we had with the internship director.  I just found out that I will not be able to do my internship where I was hoping to because I am required to work in a skilled nursing facility (I was hoping to do my internship in an assisted living facility).  This was a disappointment because I've been in touch with several people at the ALF (including the VP of HR) and I had to call them and tell them I am unable to intern there.  I'm trying to see the good side in this because there are 2 really good skilled nursing facilities really close to my house so I won't have to drive across town like I would with the ALF.  I am unable to work during my internship because I'll be at the facility M-F from 8-5 and being close will really save on gas expenses.  Please say some prayers that I can surrender my will totally and allow God to work.  I know I'll get a lot out of the SNF internship as I really enjoy long-term care, but I wish I had known about the requirement much sooner.
