I Graduated from Community College!

My college had its graduation ceremony this morning. I graduated with my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts.

When I began my first semester, in 2013, I did not have high hopes for my education at CC. I was especially nervous because I was previously homeschooled and was largely unfamiliar with the classroom setting. It turns out that my experience at community college FAR exceeded my expectations. I succeeded in my classes, formed connections with classmates and faculty, held a leadership position in a student club, and even received the college's highest academic award. I graduate debt-free, and, most importantly, I have grown in my Catholic Faith.

Going to community college was a great decision, and I am grateful to God for leading me to CC.

Now it's time to celebrate. :paco:

That's amesome!  I think we'd be far beter off as a nation if more students chose to spend the couple years after HS in community colleges.

Thank you for the kind wishes!

What now?

In the fall, I will transfer to a local university to get my Bachelor's degree in English Literature. :)
