MarysLittleFlower
I've heard of some organizations in the US that help aspirants with loans if they are entering religious life. I live in Canada and I have student loans. I'll try my best to pay them off but if I can't, are there any such organizations in Canada? Does anyone know? I'm almost 30 and though I'm planning on trying to pay them myself, I don't know how much time that would take... And most orders I'm interested in only tend to consider young women up to 35. Thanks! Gabriela
Do you have the Knights Templar? They help.
truthfinder
In Canada, your best bet are going to be more local Catholic organizations. You'll want to contact the vocation director of your diocese for any diocese specific advice. Typically the Knights of Columbus are pretty supportive of vocation fundraising. Some Canadian dioceses will also have Serra foundations which are explicitly for vocation support. A lot of these groups will not be able to give a lot of money, but they should be able to help you fundraise more effectively (ie, help you put on a pancake or spaghetti meal).
