NadaTeTurbe
I just received a SMS from my priest telling us that we will have St John Paul II relics for our new altar. It's a piece of clothes with blood from his murder's tentative. I'm rejoincing to be able to pray with St John Paul II, but it's not only that. Our church is amazing. It have been built in the XI th century, with painting from the XIX th century. It is full of light, simple, ans colorfull. Our chuch also have been attacked twice in the last decades. The second times, it was this year. People robbed a painting, and they broked the hand of the Virgin Mary in an old statue. the first time is more horrible. People came in the sacristy. They did not took valuable things. They only robbed relics. They robbed little relics from my patron saint, Sainte Colombe (Ste Paloma in spanish, a martyr), relics from St Francis of Sales, etc... My priest is sure it was satanist. it was in the 80's and there was a lot of satanism going on, and what can you do with relics except black mass ? And during decades, my church stayed without relics. That's why I am so happy to have St John Paul II relics. I'm sure it will protect our church. O Holy Trinity,we thank you for having given to the ChurchPope John Paul II,and for having made him shine with your fatherly tenderness, the glory of the Cross of Christ and the splendor of the Spirit of loveHe, trusting completely in your infinite mercyand in the maternal intercession of Mary, has shown himself in the likeness of Jesus the Good Shepherdand has pointed out to us holinessas the path to reach eternal communion with You. Grant us, through his intercession, according to your will, the grace that we implore,in the hope that he will soon be numbered among your saints. Amen.
