Joe lived about a mile from the church I was working at, meaning he was in another parish's jurisdiction, but, he explained, they had come to visit once and told him there wasn't any need for his donation

It make me sad... I'm sure there was need for donation, but the parish did not see them. 

Also, I really love the sisters of St Joseph ** They are soooo amazing. I was really moved when the sister speak (speaks ??) about feeling the communion of Saint around her. Rest in peace, Joe, and may St Joseph welcome you at the gate of paradise
