Shannon-D
Hi. Ive been following this thread because I'm the owner of Rugged Rosaries at http://www.cordbands.com and I just wanted to state for the record that we are positively NOT part of any schismatic group of any kind. We just sell rosaries. For those of you who want the strength and look of a real paracord rosary but want the centerpiece medal, you will notice that we have come up with a nice large Celtic style knot to replace the traditional jewelry style centerpiece. We also can add a miraculous medal right along side the centerpiece knot and add any other patron saint medals or substitute any crucifix we carry on any of our styles. So essentially, you can totally customize a rosary. All of our styles use real paracord... not micro cord or gutted paracord. I think the other guy's rosaries are very well made and look very nice but I wouldn't really call what he uses a true paracord. We quit using the micro cord size over a year ago because it tends to fuzz up or get fuzzy with use. We don't find that to be the case with full size 550 paracord. It's something about the way it is woven.
Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday, when you wrote in your edit: "No links to trad groups", surely you did not mean precisely that... yes? *sigh* It depends on what someone considers a "trad" (I've seen it used different ways) but have now clarified and just put schismatics, lest I ruffle any missals with my hasty writing. Sorry. I have had a very long day. Edited May 11, 2015 by Ash Wednesday
Nihil Obstat
*sigh* It depends on what someone considers a "trad" (I've seen it used different ways) but have now clarified and just put schismatics, lest I ruffle any missals with my hasty writing. Sorry. I have had a very long day. Not a problem. I knew what you meant, but for the benefit of anyone who might have ended up confused. Thank you. Fr. Sumich approves. We just sell rosaries. That post was not about you. It was in reference to a group of nuns out of Colorado who made custom rosaries that I liked and was discussing them, but I did not know they were schismatic. In the past we have been very cautious about what we link to on the boards with regards to schismatic groups and endorsements of them, so I took my original post about them down upon being informed of their status with the Church. Are we all clear? Everyone? Please? Now y'all go pray the rosary.

I have my moments where I can be a space cadet or a pill, but overall, I try to be patient and fair. Nice Union Jack, wot wot.
