dUSt
I am trying to find some good resources about how the canon of the Bible came to be. What I really think would be helpful is a timeline or a tree diagram of some sort. I have came to the conclusion that up until the reformation, the canon of the Bible was mostly fluid and undefined, for the most part. One book that keeps coming up in almost every non-Catholic source I am reading, is "The Canon of Scripture" by Bruce F.F. Has anybody read this? Is it accurate? Is it biased? Is it unreliable, or worth reading? So far, the best Catholic book on this topic, that I've found, is "Where we got the Bible" by Henry G Graham. My only problem with this book though, is the lack of footnotes or references. Amppax
I can come up with some sources, but you'll have to give me a couple weeks, it's my exam week, and I have to have an online class built by May 10th. But I've got some stuff somewhere.
