Prayers to Help Me to Forgive Someone

I have a close friend who has hurt me very much, as I mentioned in a previous prayer request, and I need prayers to forgive them and leave this in the past. I am struggling with forgiveness and moving on because they honestly don't understand why I'm so hurt over this, and I find it's far harder to forgive someone who has no understanding of their actions than it is to forgive someone who knows what they did.

I want to try and maintain a friendship with them, but I don't think it can be as it was, and the change is difficult to cope with. We've gone from talking multiple times a day to speaking every three days or so, and when we talk I feel as though it's from behind glass. I don't know if they feel the same. It feels almost like a bereavement to me, as we've been so close for years and I thought we were there for each other in everything.
