I am setting off on a long journey to an international conference today. Please pray for my safe journey. I've never been to this country before, I don't speak the language, and getting spectacularly lost in my specialty in life. I'd rather I didn't.

Please pray I finish writing the conference paper before I arrive (!), and for my computer charger to be compatible with the plug socket. Some websites say the plugs are the same as here, others that the plugs are different. Pray for me to give a good paper and for all the people who will attend. I've never spoken at anything quite this big before and I've got butterflies.

Also continue to pray for my personal life. Things continue to be hard, but I am coping.
