What do you think? And if you say Yes, which one of the four on the website would you choose?

I said yes, Eleanor Roosevelt but I wouldn't like it if they changed the sizes or the color like the Australian money. I really like the greenback dollar! :)

Since the whole system is designed to benefit the government and its cronies at the expense of others, only total scumbags should be on the money. Hamilton could stay, but FDR should certainly be on one. Jackson, who opposed the entire scheme of central banking and fiat currency, should be removed.

Eleanor, while she supported the predations of state "communism", might not have been an intentional scumbag so I am unsure of putting her on the currency.

Frankly, they can put whomever they want on their scrip. It's garbage either way.

I like the addition of a meh choice! That should have been mine. LOL

I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it? I do love the fact that the US money is all green and all the same size, so maybe we should just leave the politicians that are already on the money. Like everyone knows a Lincoln or a Hamilton or even a Grant but how many people have actually held a Salmon Chase??? Not me. :(  By the way, I thought they were all presidents but one was a Justice and one was a Senator and Franklin wasn't any of these - just a lowly Founding Father! LOL

I followed your link, then followed this one:

Texas Dad Writes He Cannot Afford His Stay-at-Home Wife

It’s often portrayed humorously in TV sitcoms – most recently ABC’s “Modern Family” – that moms are not always appreciated for what they do, but one Texas man calculated his wife's worth down to the dollar.

Steve Nelms, of Plano, Texas, figured out that he “quite literally” cannot afford for his wife, Glory, to be a stay-at-home mom to their 2-year-old son, Ezra.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Has a Tearful Meeting With Cancer Survivor

“Now, I don’t at all mean to offend anyone with this post. I just have to say that for me personally, I can’t afford it,” Nelms wrote in a March 20 post on his blog, "We Are Glory."

“I’d like to explain exactly what I mean by that so that no one thinks I’m in any way devaluing Stay-At-Home Moms," he continued.

Nelms went on to itemize every job his wife performs, from child care ($36,660) to cleaning ($5,200) to cooking ($12,480). The total comes out to $73,690 per year, according to Nelms’ calculations.

"In short, I can’t afford for my wife to stay at home. And I’ve tragically failed to show my wife the appreciation that she deserves. She loves me, loves our son, and loves our family, so obviously she isn’t doing any of those things for a paycheck or even for recognition," Nelms wrote. "But it certainly doesn’t hurt to know that as a Stay-At-Home Mom her appraised salary is nearly double my actual income. So in a very weird way, this is my way of saying how much I value my wife as the mother of my child and the one who always has my back no matter what. You are more precious than rubies. And I can’t afford you."

Truman certainly, with a mushroom cloud in the background.

I've moved to the UK and just see Queenie on our bills, I really don't care what's on the frog pelts.

I must be losing it - I saw topic earlier and said to myself "there's no women on our money" and then saw your post.  My gosh, a woman on the twenty, and on every coin. That will have to change soon enough I guess.  I know there was a debate in Canada about women on the bills, but it just feels odd.

In this poll, I voted only if they become president.  It seems to make sense and helps remove the tendency to compare the "greatness" of one woman over another.

Meh. It would be nice to have women on US bills, but I don't feel strongly about the issue.

Of the four candidates listed, I would lean toward Harriet Tubman. (Fun fact: Tubman suffered from narcolepsy and could fall asleep without warning, which made her work in the Underground Railroad all the more amazing.) I'm glad that Margaret Sanger was taken out of the running. From a pro-life perspective, she would not at all have been a good choice.
