The Historian
Of course, it's an undeniable doctrine of our faith. That is why Saint Thomas Aquinas said that it is not stealing when a starving man takes a loaf of bread. It is a beautiful topic of meditation. Consider for instance that if you have two sandwiches and you will be satisfied with one, and you see a starving man by the road side, and you give him your sandwich. That is good, but it is not a charitable act. That is an act of justice.
