AccountDeleted
Well, since the shutdown last night (my time) I have come back to find that many posts are lost, and along with the, the props. It's kind of like rolling a boulder up hill and just when you think you're starting to make progress, it rolls back down on top of you!

Ancilla Domini
This is a prop-worthy comment. Please prop it. Thank you.
AccountDeleted
Maybe @dUSt needs to set up a props for sale kind of thing, like when I used to use Facebook and play Farmville - I could buy things with real money (not that I ever did) if I wanted the game to go faster. We could buy props and the money would go to phatmass. Of course, I couldn't afford to buy any, but it would add an interesting dimension to this place! LOL The thing is though that he'd have to make sure no one lost their props or he'd owe them money back!

Excellent prop-posal...but dUSt will have to comply with the Federal Trade Commission's sales tax burden for e-commerce...and there may not be enough money left for lost prop refunds! Gabriela
Maybe @dUSt could give us an update about whether we should expect those posts and props to return? I wrote a very long, labor-intensive post for the VS, to drive traffic to religious' online shops, and I'd really like to know if I should invest the energy to rewrite it, or if I should keep hoping that it will be magically, technologically resurrected. I wrote a very long, labor-intensive post for the VS, to drive traffic to religious' online shops, and I'd really like to know if I should invest the energy to rewrite it, or if I should keep hoping that it will be magically, technologically resurrected. Yeah, I have seen whole threads disappear and sometimes just my posts in a thread and it made me wonder 'what the hey?" but then I thought, should I repost or just take it as gone with the wind? I suppose if you have time and remember what you posted, you could do them again, but perhaps it might be easier just to move on. You could make a list of online shops in a Word document and save it for reposting at any time - a future resource? Or just say 'c'est la vie' or 'que sera sera'
dUSt
Sorry y'all. I'll try to keep a more recent backup the next time I try to update the board to the latest version. This only happens when something goes terribly wrong and I have to restore the database.

This only happens when something goes terribly wrong and I have to restore the database. I kinda figured it was bad news when I clicked on my phorum shortcut and got all kinds of instructions about how to install the board. It had instructions for set up and download and other things. I wondered if I was supposed to install something before I could see the phorum again but since it required a license key I figured out that it was just an error and I went away again!
